I like trains, but I don't want to play a train sim. What are some good games with trains in them?

I, too, like trains.

If You have the money and the space, I would recommend just buying some model trains. But that's like a sim to You.

Doesn't a level in Halo 2 have running trains?

no I absolutely want some lego trains but I don't have the space for that right now

You can make one in Satisfactory. It think it has creative mode so you don't have to grind weeks to get one.

But I do want to play some train sims. What are some good ones?

You're gonna get alot of management games.
Factory Town has a train, compared to other good transportations it's very high throughput but only intermittently. Good for moving things between towns.

Maybe I'm just thinking of minecraft or roblox

Factorio. Train Valley.

RDR2

Metro Exodus "hub" between areas is a train, it's extremely comfy.
Also, Transarctica, would love a more modern version of it.

might be too sim, but densha de go is great

I kind of with the train driving part of Spirit Tracks was just the whole game. It's fun making routes, delivering passengers, and avoiding the evil bomb trains

The train drives the narrative a lot, and its basically one of the main characters. And yes, the Hub is gigacomfy.
