That's precious attention they want for themselves. Every moment a man they desire is actively paying attention to something else is a moment that woman feels self conscious about her own worth. You don't understand the psychiatry of women. The forces that compel them to do the shit they do is innate. Social ostracization or social neglect is interpreted as a death sentence to women. It literally evokes a life or death response. It's so important to them because that's the environment women evolved in for hundreds of thousands of years when we lived in small tribal, migratory villages. A woman being outcast or shunned by the people around her was essentially the end for her. Having no means to provide for herself or protect herself she perished. Only the women that cared VERY MUCH about the attention and acceptance of others survived. Only the selfish women that demanded maximal resources outlived the women that were reasonable and selfless.
You can't expect women to abandon their instinctual urges just because society demands men abandon their instinctual urges. Women are not taught to suppress this compulsion. Men are taught to suppress their compulsions. You need to start viewing women accurately. Thoughtless, undisciplined people who were raised incorrectly by their parent(s).

Because videogames don't gain resources for them, which they assume you'll share with them once they open their holes to you. The exceptions are pro gamers, who usually have girlfriends. There for the money, not the games. The exceptions occur when less attractive women see a large pool of single men who they can manipulate for status, eventually settling for the highest status loser they can get.

Women only care about men to the extent that the men benefit them. Most women don't care if their boyfriend / husband plays a video game occasionally IF they're also making a lot of money and/or taking care of a lot of other responsibilities. Tons of men who play video games don't have their shit together though.

Is she aware but doesn't want to bring attention to it because the last thing she wants is to call out women?
