Agreed. I didn't hate them, but I think real time would have worked better, since the models already exist in the game and like you said, it was too much of a departure from the regular look. Felt off.

2D cutscenes in-between chapters sucked, because they were outsourced to an external company. The whole project was held together by a really tight budget and has some of the most interesting cut content/concepts.
