Mexican user here, I am no longer a console gamer but the OG xbox era was huge here compared to the U.S, I did not meet a single kid who had a PS2, everyone had an Xbox. I know Xbox only became dominant in the U.S during the 360 era, which is why Mexican fans are more loyal. Also, a lot of us had our consoles modded so they could play pirated games from the local market.
