Once we reached like, mid-late PS3/360, graphics have been more than good enough for a long time. I can still play Uncharted 2 or Killzone 2 and think those are great looking games. I just want fun gameplay now.

Yeah. The jump from PS2 to PS3 actually blew me away at the time. That was a leap in graphics worth having. PS3 to PS4 though? Or PS4 to PS5? Don't give a shit. The only reason I buy new hardware anymore is simply because the developers stop making games for the old hardware.
