Started playing AFT 2 years ago, then took a year brake of the game becase i was busy. Started playing it again before the release of Mega Mix+
A lot of the 9* and 9.5* songs filter me and i can only clear one 10* song, but i'm having fun:D Also got a couple of perfects in Extreme and ExEx

Yeah haha posted it a few weeks back when I first got it. I’m to a point where I can actually pass songs like sadistic and the intense voice with it reliably but man switching from split multis to sliders back to split multis fucks me up so hard still on it. Tbh I don’t even want to think about how much time I have in this damn series over the years I know ft/mm/mm+ is well over 5000 hours alone.

I see, that's a pretty nice collection, i even see an Ipega at the back hehe. How difficult are sliders compared to a standard controller? Because those seems a lot harder from what i saw in some arcade footage

Sliders are genuinely difficult with arcade controls, especially with the official controller which you have to actually slide for the length of the slider. There’s a reason that the exex charts almost all have sliders in them because on arcade controls it’s extremely difficult in most of the scenarios they throw at you.
I got the ipega before pulling the trigger on the official one because I wanted to make damn sure I liked how the game played before I spent $600 on a single controller for one game. Honestly it’s pretty bad out of the box but for the price they go for it’s honestly not a bad buy if you want to dip your toes in the arcade waters. Got to me in like 3 days after ordering it on Amazon JP.
I will also say that if you do get a full size controller make sure you have the room because they are fuckhuge

Yeah, honestly I would say see if you can find either the official mini controller they did if you want arcade controls plus sticks for sliders. I have that one as well and it does make things a lot easier for when I just wanna run some songs without setting up the giant thing. It’s really weird getting used to sticks again after using the touch sider but it’s still a good way to play

Oh! One more thing to note is that the official controllers do work on mm+ for any region but for the ps4 versions they will only work with the JP games as they weren’t released outside of Japan and are region locked.

Yeah the divaller is the better overall product too and is less money. I really just wanted the official one because it strokes the tism being the closest thing to the actual arcade panel (which you can also get and actually use on MM+ if you get crafty)
