Has there ever been an actually good movie/TV show based on a video game?

Witcher doesn't count, that's a book.

Every time

This meme is forced

The Silent Hill movie was pretty good. It sort of combined the plots of the first two games and it turned out well. There were direct to video sequels that were shit though.

No because the writers/producers dont give a single fuck about the source material

reject Netflix
embrace Uwe Boll kino

It's funny

>GLORY TO THE SOVIET UNI-AACKKKKK

Real communism is when you're business partners with Bezos and union busters.

Everyone who calls themselves a "lefty" or "communist" is really just a neoliberal globohomo with different branding.

TV shows based on video games is a trend too recent to evaluate. Movies there were few good ones.

The first Mortal Kombat movie.

It's sad how obvious you're underage because you don't know this.

It's not a meme, that's what actually happened.

>Capital
Protip, don't use marxist phraseology when talking to marxists, or anyone for that matter.

>Cynical dirtbag leftists constantly selling themselves out
>"uhh it's a forced meme"
It's not really forced when it's reality.

>"capital" is a Marxist term

Well yeah, he literally wrote the book on it

Look at OPs image which is from the game. Its not a meme, its what always happens.

it makes sense that they would act this way, the quote in the OP itself is of a particular school of left wing thought that is pretty fucking cynical about the future, which is a common tone regarding communism throughout the game itself. the devs might understand the critique of the system but see having to live within it anyway as the only practical option

most adaptations of games to movies/tv are dog shit to ok. the best movie to do with video games is Free Guy and its not even based on a specific gaming IP.
