>Final chapter starts
>Odio summons your protagonist
>at first, your protag comes to in the dark
>music plays lightly
>as your protag walks in the dark, visions of each of the chapters' settings start to appear
>you reach stairs and climb them
>the music fades in to normal volume and you find yourself in Lucretta
Gotta say, that moment was fucking kino

Did you believe in him?

Hash was right.

Before getting to the final chapter I was thinking to use Sundown as the protag
But Yun was just so fun to use during his chapter I decided to change it
Anyone else changed what they were planning?

When playing the sfc version, I wanted my final party to be Akira, Li, Pogo and Cube, but I ended up using Sundown instead of Pogo.

In other words, git gud

In Edo does no kill or everyone kill make a difference?

If you don't kill anyone you get a cool sword.

Can somebody please post the tails gets trolled images. Specifically the one with all seven of the protagonists.

The remake was worth it for this.

Thank you

Confirmed canon protagonist

No kill nets you the best weapon for final chapter, but requires avoiding some encounters, doing some unintuitive things, and not saving the prisoner until the very end.
All kills nets you a sword that's almost as good, and lets you grap the prisoner asap
Not killing any women nets you an op infinite use healing item, which honestly is probably the most important chapter reward to go for.

Same could be said for Akira; by default if you play as Oersted in the final chapter, Odeo is the statue in the middle -- for all the other characters, the statue in the middle is whatever incarnation of odio the finale protag fought.
Akira fought Odeo.
But regardless, imo all the LAL boys (or boys and gril if you chose lei) are protagonists/heroes in their own right

I can't decide between Lei or Sundown as my protag for the finale.
Sundown is my favorite character but I feel like Lei would have more cool interactions as the lead with how quiet Sundown is.
I also kinda wanna chase sundown around the map again and hear the jingle.
>Starts at the exact opposite point of Odio, where the original heroes began their journey proper
>Gets their theme song when you visit that area
>All three pupils faltered and resorted to commiting crimes, only to be brought back from their lowest point by their master's guidance, which is the exact opposite of Orested's story.
Yeah it sure feels that way honestly.

Just starting the final chapter. Using Lei as the protag.
Who should I use on my final team? Using Sundown/Oboro/Masaru right now, but want to swap one of them out for Cube.

Masaru is the weakest of those for sure but really just use whoever you like the most it's not gonna matter.
Especially if you decide to keep Sundown who is absolutely broken.

Oboro and Lei fit kind of the same role as speedy all rounders

Masura seems useful as a damage sponge at least, which is the main reason I like having him. The others feel a little squishy.

Cube could definitely mitigate that with his amazing healing skill.
But again it really doesn't matter much.
I picked Masaru as my lead in the Snes version and I managed just fine.

They both have good interactions, so go with whichever one you feel is most appropriate. They're both really strong leads.

Also I am pretty sure the Shifu suffered the most out of all protagonists
I am pretty sure Cube had no time to care about Huey, Kirk and Necrophiliac

I pick Masaru as the final protagonist just because he's the hero from the Present
