unless they decide to go the nostalgia route again, basically superstars with a couple more tweaks (hell if they really want to keep doing nostalgic shit do the mario kart route and have a few old boards and minigames with the new ones)

That’s the optimal thing they should do as it also means they could experiment with some of the newer boards, nobody would complain how much they changed things up as long as there were still retro boards with the classic gameplay, still, I think any new boards should strive for a balance between creativity and tradition like 6 did, as that game changed some things up for some boards while still leaving it familiar and fun enough to be Mario party unlike 9 and 10.

The car was a prime vehicle (LOL) for some of the most spiteful mario party gameplay ever made if they played their cards right.

The basics. Should always be in the games. Mushroom/Gold rebalance of just adding +3-+5 is debatable but not the worst shit. If they planned on having Double/Triple dice blocks still then it isn't a bad addition. 4's Items were bad.

Capsules were just items and Basic orbs. Being able to throw a space and it effect anyone who lands was choice. Shouldn't be free besides hitting a full lap(map depending)
