Underlods: good but underrated and abandoned by Valve because of it

They make such insane money off of steam now that there is no reason to make any new games (except tech demos) or update their old ones.

They didn't dive fully enough into vr. (Maybe they're sitting on something, with the recent price hike anyone who comes out swinging on the software end and player base can still take the full vr cake (long term). 2 things control this. One being vrchat (or a clone that can garner enough of a fan base of creators), and a killer, repayable addictive app. Valve obviously knows how to build the latter and facebook has the userbase. valve may be keeping their cards close until someone else gets vr over the event horizon. This may have been signaled by Apple getting involved and meta raising its price. 1 or 2 killer exclusives is all it takes to take the vr cake.
