They probably wouldn't, if you play an FPS for 1000 hours you either want a robust leaderboard/ranking system you can climb, a real world cosmetic stock market trading thing you can (try to) abuse or you haven't figured out VRchat or whatever works better for fucking around in if you're not actually committed to the fps itself but just hanging with the bros in a 3d world.

Rise I've enjoyed more, the big distinction in playtime is simply playing with friends.
I played almost all of my time on Rise solo cause I loved the two pet system and none of my friends wanted to play it.
I only invested more time into World because DLC plus I had friends who wanted to play it.
