Which plane is your favorite to fly in vidya?

For me, it's the stainless steel block with cruise missile engines bolted onto it that tricked the US into thinking Russia had tech 20 years ahead of them. Had a fucking blast with it in AC7 multiplayer.
>Stack it with speed and lock distance upgrades
>Fly out to mission perimiter
>Spend the entire round flying through the middle of any engagements at blackout speed, dropping my payload then being at the other side of the map before anyone knows I was even there

>Always has lower stats than the Raptor
They can't keep getting away with it!

The black sheep of dogfighting in 1942.

The one that becomes the futuristic plane in media because only slavs are crazy enough to make a prototype.

Honestly, anything with a bubble canopy. The F-16 cockpit is pure sex

F-15 or any of its other variants.

The J2 Fury was my favorite for multiplayer. Too bad it wasn't available in the campaign.

I love her so much bros. The feeling of diving and shredding some poor fucker with 4x 20mm is the best

ME262 (especially with realistic engine modelling so i can make it explode in mid-air by goosing the throttle), F14 Tomcat

This is the most well behaved thread on Any Forums right now. You guys are legitimately making me want to get into planes so I can join in on the conversation. I was really into them as a kid, but after flying in one I developed a phobia. Where is a good place to start for getting back into planes? I am in complete ignorance.

If your plane is most if not all digital displays I don't want to hear about it. If I can know what is what in your cockpit I don't want to know about it.

>it was better in every worthwhile metric
>lost to the F22 because muh stall manouvers and Northrop already had too many contracts

The F18C Hornet. I even bought the equivalent in Star Citizen.

why does it have sidewinders

What's the point in the big metal shield that comes from the top and bottom?

Reverse thrust buckets.
It reverses the thrust, buckets.

Thrust reverser. It sounds like troll physics, but it works.

War Thunder, you don't need a joystick to fly plane and get to admire the 3d model

Then when you realize the game is shit you can splurge on a cheap joystick like Logitech extreme 3d pro, and get into il-2 battle of stalingrad for ww2 or dcs for modern planes
