It's only been out a few days but let's be real. Multiversus has kicked the embarrassment that is NASB into the fucking dirt

> Way more interesting roster
> Actually contains a good amount of content
> F2P model is more generous than expected, unlocking characters is a good incentive to keep playing
> Controls much better
> Doesn't try to force in unnecessary competitive mechanics to appease the Melee autists
> Much more vibrant artstyle and better animated
> Combat is night and day, feels 10x more satisfying and punchy
> Steam charts numbers piss all over NASB
> Iconic music and original voice actors from Day 1

Without trying to sound like a consoomer, this game really is gonna be the next Smash, and everything Nick Brawl wishes it could've been. Brilliantly marketed, appeals to everyone, doesn't try and hyperfocus on appeasing the weird autists that make up the smash community and instead focuses on being a fun game in its own right.

The world has already forgotten about NASB, evident by how the devs are trying to scramble back relevancy by adding funny Reddit picks as DLC.

Multiversus won, and it feels good.

It's over.

Contrary to what you may believe, Any Forums is actually not the global indicator of whether a game is dead or not. You 19 year old spergs spend all day rambling about fictional girls or the same 3 games from 2006 so when a new game comes along you don't have the brain capacity to remember it for longer than a day or two. MVS will stay relevant for a very long time. Cope

Seethe harder, tranny.

NASB should be free

I wish the matches were longer

It was always going to get more attention soley based on the fact that Multiversus has single characters more iconic then the entire Nick roster.

in 2023 if the game keeps up with its popularity

>threads are already dead and only kept alive by roastertrannies

So the exact same situation as Ultimate?

Ultimate is shit too. Coincidence?

The battle for 2nd place is over finally

All a Smash clone ever needed was a fucking budget.
>TMNT - no budget
>PASBR - no budget
>Nick - No budget
>Rivals, Slap, Brawlout, RushRev - indie games obviously have no budget
>Multiversus - a fucking budget
Having the brand helps a ton as well, given that no active fighting games are anything other than long established IPs, but games like Rivals were still able to find an audience, so you have to wonder what a bigger studio might have been capable of.

It's crazy that this subgenre seems like an easy win for many companies to jump in and put their own spin on, be they original IPs or using existing properties, and no one ever wanted to put in the legwork for 20 some odd years.

Oh cool, a paid shill thread!

>a f2p game is doing significantly better a p2p game
Shocker, still never playing Multiverse though.

fgc retards were just too stupid to see the writing on the wall, 1v1 60$ with no unlocks, levels, sp content or customization just fail.
just look at brawlhalla, it's shit but it just being free made it successful.

well Rivals made up for no budget by being the MUGEN smash clone. Ton of characters, stages, etc in the workshop.

If the Nickelodeon game had been a free-to-play Spongebob smash game with voice actors, it would have been successful. The WB game just has more potential since they own some of the most prolific cartoon characters of all time.
