I was about to get a 3080 but I feel the TDP of higher end cards is getting a bit retarded. Up to a 3060ti from a 1060 is good enough

>1080p
until my monitor breaks i see no reason to upgrade

I look like that irl

>Nvidia will never make a card with that great price to performance ratio ever again
Didn't know how good we had it.

Good laugh

That's only because 8th gen was extended into 9th gen because chip shenanigans.
My R9 290 4gb still gets 1080p 60fps in all games, that wouldn't have happened if GPU prices stayed at MSRP.

Bros is it worth getting a mid budget laptop to dip my toe into pc gaming, or should i just bite the bullet and go desktop?

If you really need a mobile computer then go laptop, if not go desktop. Always remember that for a laptop you also pay for mobilty and a smaller form factor that doesn't require a monitor, but laptop displays are usually on the smaller side.

>GPU util : 5%
Give me that card fucktard, you don't deserves it

That's not how it works you tech illiterate.

No

laptops are inferior in every regard to a desktop and also more expensive
the only people that "need" gaming laptops are those who travel for more than a month

stupid ESL

I'm on 1440p with a 3080 so I can play p much everything on ultra
Then again I'm an IT guy and sit like 50cm away from my screen and still occasionally have to move my head to read stuff on screen so upgrading to 4k would literally make my life worse
