>save game
>save again
>back out into game
>make sure I saved one more time
What gaming OCD do you have?
>save game
>save again
>back out into game

What gaming OCD do you have?
I fucking blame Pokemon Red for this. Nowadays I have none.
>Game autosaves when entering a room
>Quicksave and hardsave on the same spot
>Close game
>All of them are corrupted when I boot the game back up
Save smarter, not harder
I’m an achievement whore as well as 100%er on single player games. I’ll play one game anywhere between a few days to a month to get it all done and then not touch the game for at least +5 years. The one exception is Bioshock because I’ve never been able to find all the audio logs for the last achievement. Doesn’t apply to multiplayer games with achievements.
I know this feeling. I try to get every achievement in a game and some times even drop games if it's not possible/too much work.
This is a must when playing a Bethesda game.
Any in-game screenshots are copied to several hard drives. All physical games I own are organized alphabetically by genre then I take pictures of them.
>If I’m playing an rpg
Always use some kind of two handed ax
>If I’m playing a shooter
Always use some kind of shotgun
>save and continue or save and quit?
>save and continue
>quit game
EVERY fucking game I do this if possible.
>game has a save counter
>peek
>save
>quicksave
>named save
>move 1 cm
>do it again
Fuck lab x18. 2 spook 4 me
you are fully right in doing this. always confirm or back up your saves.
im playing a game froma current year (river city sagas) and it claims to have working save and load functions. but when you save and quit in the first of 6 long ass chapters, it makes you do the whole thing again from the start
>game had unique weapons
>I MUST collect them all regardless if they're useless to my build
>consequently most playthroughs of these games are the same
I dislike this quality of myself.
>about get to important story area/boss fight
>have to pause game and get up and go do something ie grab a drink, go out for a smoke, pee pee poo poo etc before I come back and continue with the game
This always results in my in game play time being inflated by a good few hours, especially because I'm a notorious long pooper (to the point I have to get a colonoscopy soon to find out what's wrong with me lel. Inb4 I get totally biscuited)
overall game time is completely irrelevant if you actually finish the game. its the destination, not the journey. no one is clocking you but you.
more importantly - please user, get your bowels sorted out, for everyone's sake. its a long, painful road if you don't; i speak from experience.
>save game
>do some task and get a achievement
>die
>load save
>achievement doesn't feel real anymore
>If the game has a paladin I always have to play a paladin.
>Ends up making every game feel the same
>If it's doom I only use shotguns
kek
Also I probably end up doing the task again even though I already have the achievement.
>If game has animals in the area I have to pet them all every time I go through
In Goldeneye I always had the urge to shoot out every fucking light
