VR is a failed meme

I don't know which one of you retards need to hear this, but VR will never become popular, and it will never supplant normal gaming. And the reason is incredibly simple. No matter how "advanced" you make the graphics or whatever, you're never going to change the fact that your strapping a big chunk of plastic on your head and deadening your awareness of the world around you. That is a literal human biological fact that the idiots who push VR will never comprehend because they don't actually understand people.

it's actually pretty good but there's no incentive for companies to waste thousands of hours making a good game when the market is so small they risk not even making a profit. I'm talking about PCVR here, because the quest 2 happened and now it's got all the attention, problem is.. it's still quite lacking in power to give us demanding, better games. So we're stuck with shitty unity games for standalone vr walled off by Facebook(Meta), and a niche, hardly profitable market on PCVR.
