probably the armored core universe
>ACs can just bulldoze your house
>sniper rifles that can blow through entire blocks
>AC misses a slash
>entire school is levelled and children are cut in half
>corpo fuckheads don't give a shit about you
>AC activates primal armor
>get cancer

Kirby, I’m serious. Popstar gets invaded every other month, and even during peacetime Kirby might obliterate you over falsely stolen shortcake.

EDF

SMT, Fallout, Resident Evil, SIlent Hill, Dead Space, Assassins Creed, GTA, Saints Row, Dark Souls, Bloodborne, Nioh, Elden Ring, Sonic, Doom, list goes on

Dead Space.

The fromsoft worlds have been mentioned because they're always dying...

But i find Half Life a lot more unsettling. The seas are infested by leeches that killed off all ocean creatures. There are alien species everywhere, within cities and in the wild. You could run into a barnacle and get eaten alive. Suppression fields prevent you from breeding. A headcrab will turn you into a zombie so you don't even have peace after death.

probably 40k

>Sonic
I was about to refute you until I remembered Robotnik constantly fucks up the planet. As if living in the same universe as Sonic wasn't hell enough.

I'd hate to live in Dead Space universe.

the HL universe, the scary part is we already are, just not so blatantly yet

Those two.
Half life universe is pretty shitty too

r-type. literally trapped in a doomed closed timeloop

>aliens capable of destroying cities
>a space colony capable of blowing up planets
>three to four different monsters that wreck entire cities
>scientist that constantly makes places uninhabitable
>not to mention having to go around day to day with all the bottomless pits, spikes, and other hazards being everywhere

catching the w corp. train to work every day in ruina

Nier is probably up there

>implying you could even fucking pay for a ticket
You're more likely to get eaten by Sweepers than experience W Corp's wild ride.

>not to mention having to go around day to day with all the bottomless pits, spikes, and other hazards being everywhere
I wonder how normal humans/animals deal with those or if they even interact at all.

This. There is absolutely nothing left.

The ending of the new Prey game makes earth seem really terrible to live in, assuming you even survive.
