Jak II

Admit it, you got filtered

I only got filtered by that one mission with the stupid turret on hero mode. The game just ends there, unless you're some kind of god who can wipe out their outrageous health in the roughly thirty seconds you've got before dying every wave.

>PULL OVER

I beat it in order to have an informed opinion on hating it because I didn't want anonymous people online to say I was filtered. This is not an ironic statement. That's the genuine reason. I fucking hate this game. Among technically polished experiences it is one of the least enjoyable single player games I've ever played right next Wolfenstein: The New Order. However, unlike Wolfenstein I do kind of respect it.

there were several times I wanted to quit but I wanted to be able to say it's shit and be totally justified. it fucking sucks. I can't believe they let gta corrupt them like that.

I just beat this 2 days ago.
>KG chase you if you hit any civilian on the jet board but not driving into them or attacking them.
>KG make it a point to run directly into whilst on the jet board.
>Metal Head scorpions...
>Can't jump off a vehicle before it explodes.
>Dark Jak just goes flying when you tap square.
>The mission where you escort the kid to the vehicle before taking him to Vin.
>The mission where you have to destroy 3 Krimzon death bots(?) Before they reach the underground base.
>Any mission from Vin.
Also I'm not sure if anyone else encountered this, I did play on PS4 but.
>Metal Head gems falling through the world.
Fun game. Playing Jak 3 and a glitch I've encountered whilst using ladders makes you fall through the ground if you slide down ladders. Again might just be PS4 fuck ups.

>hey kids we heard you like GTA and Tony Hawk

why does everyone keep acting like this game was difficult

Wait do people actually think that Jak 2 is that hard? I thought it was just a meme, yes it has some hard missions but nothing too out of the ordinary

>collect the relic at the docks

If by filtered you mean beaten multiple times on 3 different consoles then sure

I didn't get filtered, it was the best christmas ever lol

>mashes square

>collect the relic at the docks
Never had that big of a problem with that mission, maybe i'm just lucky?

The checkpoints were inconsistent at the least

There were challenging moments compounded by the game not being fun. Meaning pushing through to the end was difficult.

Navigation is shit, Checkpoints are shit, you have far less HP than the game suggests you do, ow the edge Jak is shit, vehicles are shit, only thing that isn't shit is the animation which is still some of the best on the PS2, but that's par for the trilogy.

No i beat it in 2020. I didn’t like it though, whereas the first game is one of my faves.

>fighting Kor
>struggling because dumb kid
>take a break
>load another save file to play some fun missions
>accidentally overwrite main save
>salty as fuck, give up on Jak II
>read how it ends online
>beat Jak 3 like five times

Didn't get filtered by the difficulty.
Fuck collecting the Orbs though.

>make a game with incredbly satisfying movement and comfy tropical atmosphere
>set the sequel in a drab grimdark city that's too big to get around in with jak's regular movement and force the player to ride hover car things for 5 minutes between every mission

really enjoyed jak 1 but i couldn't even get 2 hours into this game

Never collected the Orbs after the first game lol, it's just boring

>he doesn't know
Do a Dark Bomb into the water, it will blow up the instakill robot and you can just jetboard out over the water

Was it just me, or was Dark Jak essentially useless because you were virtually never in control of when you got it?
