Why did the Vita fail?
Why did the Vita fail?
Sneed (fart and shart)
No games + overpriced
Worked for the switch.
I feel like it suffered the same issues as the WiiU. Not promoted hard enough and many people thought it was just an new version of the PSP opposed to a new console. I had many friends with PSPs at the time who had never even heard of the Vita until I told them about it
damn the last thread's corpse ain't even cold
I don't get why you guys are still desperately trying to push the switch has no games.
The hack spooked sony
The original is censored isn't it
i loved my vita
it lives on in spirit
Shita is nothing but 540p 12fps ports
>AI
Based
Buy the sequel afterwards and enjoy the games frend
KeK
kill yourself frogtard
i have it pirated for the switch but yea looking forward to it
no gaems unless youre a weeb.
>mfw I actually finished a playthrough of borderlands 2 on the vita version
Not enough exclusive system sellers like Monster Hunter. Sony fanbase is Xbox-like too, it isn't suited for handheld gaming.
Didn't stop the Switch from being a success.
the vita just barely had enough power to get working ports of some ps2/ps3 games, and developing exclusives for it wasnt worth it. the switch may still be horribly underpowered compared to every other console, but that 5 year difference in technology made a huge difference.
>nin toddler re re releasing all old nes,n64,gamecube, and wii games on the switch at full price with little to no changes
>wooow guys look how many games the switch has
imagine my shock
Keep moving those goal posts
>$60 Wii U ports, Wii U rehashes, bad current gen ports, cloud "ports", 30 year old ROMs and shovelware
See? No games.
Bad analogy. Switch has the largest library of games outside of PC
So if we apply that logic the PS5 has 0 games.
>B b but, these games does not count
Return to your no games station 5 with it's only worthwhile games being PS4 games.
Sony didn't incentive western devs to develop anything for it outside of indie ports.
>counting eshop shovelware as games
You're thinking of the shita. Switch barely has any ports
>working ports of some ps2
Vita was powerful to run PS2 games, they simply didn't care.
>Switch has the largest library of games outside of PC
See: Switch has no games.
I was mostly referring to its massive list of exclusives but yeah it has the most indies too, outside of PC.
Sony didn't want to get executed by phones and dropped support.
