Money

But they are about to lose 90% of their players?

Dont worry a new moderated and monetized modding platform is coming soon!

>vrchat has banned mods
yeah, in 20 fucking 17, this isn't news.

imagine banning mods

Yeah, was just about to say that.

Is it an IPO thing? Selling cosmetics? Blackrock?

hahaha cute you think predators and groomers are there because of mods.

>banning mods
>not the sex and fucking roleplay

I think people are upset

New draconian rules as well! Yay

I love seeing this shit when it's not some chinese butthurt over absolutely nothing, fuck developers who think their decisions have no consequences

it's bigger than that

One of the devs was caught using mods too. It's likely they are introducing eac so they can monetize, add microtransactions, ads, etc

I hope so, I miss the glory days of 30 people online on a friday night

How many of those votes do you think are chinese players?

I don't care, what I'm saying is that I love to see the review system used to communicate dissatisfaction and tank a game's reputation when that response is warranted, not when someone is hyper sensitive to something and it catches on to review bomb as a meme

>people can have any skin they want FOR FREE?
>SHUT IT DOWN

even if you take this guys word for it, there's no proof he actually used it or just tested it for dev reasons

gee I wonder what it could be
>linkedin.com/jobs/view/senior-compliance-operations-manager-at-vrchat-inc-3153683793
>Ideally would entail building out a compliance program for a regulated business. Some good options would be crypto/blockchain, gaming involving in-game currencies and fintech
there, mystery solved

you know all those are going to be deleted so the devs can keep their reputation.

VRChat is officially dead.

He was on some concert livestream recently and flying around too, so it's not likely it was just for dev reasons.

thank god, erping trannies seething hard

So who's going to make a replacement?

>flying around
this is a super basic thing, its probably in the dev client anwyay

So...this is the best time to play the game, when all the furrries and kids aren't there anymore? Fucking based devs

legitimate question, has steam ever not isolated review bombs? in this case it's 100% warranted to leave the reviews there due to the severity of this issue, it actually impacts the game instead of "wtf bros this has a vtuber voicing a character"

if the chillout vr guys can handle the massive influx of new users in a timely manner probably that

This remi D's me of when Tumblr banned porn despite that being 90 percent of their site traffic

Nope. The dev team is also full or furries and roleplayers. The mod ban has NOTHING to do with lewd avatars, those will continue.

Mods are mostly quality of life like teleporting to your friends or having full body portable mirrors.
