That's my one problem with DOA ninjas. They're specifically referred to as kunoichi, but they don't act seductively at all. They have their looks and their skimpy outfits, but they only use them as passive distractions. They never actively try to flirt or tease anyone they fight.

DOAXBV was a fairly tame thing. Yes, the girls were running around in skimpy swimsuits, but there was no self-insert male 'Owner', you played as one of the girls courting a vb partner. They could refuse to wear skimpy outfits they didn't like. They were just, in his words, having a nice relaxing vacation with the other girls. Zack was on the island but he was no present in the game itself, just sending the girls their nightly gift. Even the pole dancing in X2 was introduced as Christie teaching the girls the moves from her DOA4 ending. Then post-Itagaki X3 and now VV introduced the male Owner for players to self-insert as and try to seduce them girls. The girls now interact more with him. In X3, they don't even hang around with their vb partner outside of matches. It's become a pseudo dating-sim/harem anime.
