user people found him easy with their basic builds before anyone learned what the actual meta weapons and spells were. He was just easy if you didn't happen to have the one kind of build his resistances work against.

And thank god for that, after Malenia and the fucking cancer that was the performance problems I was getting in Malekith, somebody I could just bludgeon to death with my hammer was exactly what I wanted.
My opinion on the game was souring quickly, but the fact that all the end-of-game bosses were really fun and satisfying without being overly difficult saved it for me and made it end in a great note.

Same thing with Morgott, which is in my opinion one of the coolest bosses in the entire fucking game, and is a total fucking pushover, i've killed him on my first try and he always loses when you put him up against other bosses via cheat engine.
