When I started looking for a job back in January I did the whole LinkedIn thing (even paid for premium), but in the end the job I ended up landing didn’t even have a LinkedIn posting. Depending on your line of work there might be some value in using LinkedIn for job hunting, however I mostly felt it the platform as a whole was detrimental to my self esteem

Everyone there is still regularly employed, in higher positions. And here I am sitting at home masturbating. It's like going to a high school reunion and everyone is a doctor or some kind of manager.
