You didn't beat the game.
You didn't beat the game
I didn’t even play it
You're right, I got bored after the capital.
>if you used this sword you didn't beat the game
>sword is acquired right before the final boss of the final area with only a single dungeon area and a handful of bosses remaining
>you likely can't upgrade it to match your best weapon right away so realistically it won't be usable until after that dungeon because that's where the final somber bell bearings are
>all this and it's only marginally better for general use than other fully upgrade katanas and you're likely duel wielding them
OP this weapon is considered overpowered for PVP and as a cheap way of beating optional bosses like Malenia. For "beating the game" it's not even relevant.
Moonveil is a better argument because it's such a potentially early game weapon and can ruin your whole run with how easy it makes things and how boring and repetitive using it is.
>you likely can't upgrade it to match your best weapon right away
You absolutely can, somber stones drop like hotcakes.
>you likely can't upgrade it to match your best weapon right away
you can purchase an infinite amount of 1-9 somber stones from the husks in roundtable if you get the respective bell bearings
tried to play with greatsword, litteraly impossible wtf is this
what if i use this sword
Beat the entire game with a Cold Claymore
luv me Cold Claymore, simple as
In your first run, when you're not actively looking for the higher numbered ones, before the mine in the snowfield? You'd likely be missing one or two of the higher up ones.
Besides it doesn't matter. If you're running a duel katanna blood build it's already broken and overpowered before finding this one.
I guarantee most people picked this thing up looked at it and went "neat" and then forgot about it until some youtuber told them to use it against malenia.
Most of these weapons can't even be acquired early.
Most of them were dropped to people by their friends
And if you read what I wrote, those respective bell bearings are in faram azula. By the time you get them both you've beaten half the final non-optional dungeon.
Last time I opened Elden Ring was in VR jacking off to Rennala's toes. I don't need to finish the game, I already finished.
this meme is gay, drake sword is easily outclassed by making any standard weapon +5, which admittedly won't happen before you beat gargoyles, unless you grind for souls and titanite drops but who's going to do that
RoB is supposed to be a super-lategame weapon that is only available for the final boss of Mountaintop, Farum Azula, and the final boss gauntlet (final two are bleed immune)
Somehow, every person I invaded in Liurna and Atlus had it
I haven't even used it because I don't like cheat weapons but you're wrong
Are you using a good shield or duel wielding? There's like 20 greatswords and most of them are powerful as fuck.
>I guarantee most people picked this thing up looked at it and went "neat" and then forgot about it until some youtuber told them to use it against malenia.
This.
Elanora's Poleblade > Rivers of Blood
the greatsword, i was just level 30 at the capital
It's only used to beat Melanie because she's a sekiro boss using cloud passage
This
>Dex/Arcane build
>War Surgeon Mask
>Lord of Blood Talisman
>Duel wield Eleonora's poleblade and a Cold Godskin Peeler
I was a whilwind of bullshit by the end of the game and it was hilarious
Either they're helping a friend beat the game while they use it or they already beat the game and had another account or friend drop it for them so they could use it their entire DEX run. Which sounds boring as fuck but that's something they'll have to learn themselves.
Someone told me halfway through my first run to go get the moonveil and for a few hours it was great then it just became boring as everything else was too weak to keep up and I couldn't downgrade to another weopon. Finally forced myself to use INT greatswords and ditch the thing before the final few bosses.
>Dual wielding Twinblades
That seems like it really defeats the point
Yeah it's pretty boring as a colossal weapon. Either you're spamming the lion's claw or you're just doing shield counters. For a colossal weapon most of the others are more fun, the stone halberd has better reach and a better moveset, and really the whole time you'd be better off using any of the 20 "greatswords". They have better movesets, are faster, and more versatile.
People just like it for the memes.
