I honestly just want a game where you play a guy that just has to deal with the wacky little bitch of a protagonist. Like the janitor or the shopkeep or firemen or farmer or something else equally mundane but you have your own situation going on and suddenly your place of work fucking burns down because The Idiot decided to [do something] and now its your job to work out a solution for it while also having to deal with your original responsibilities.
Maybe something like Papers Please where you're primarily motivated by money to keep your family fed and also the world is ending or something, so its the protagonist's job to deal with that while you try to keep everything running.
