hint: Use the option "sage" to increase your post's chances of hitting the slime

just hit them with physical moves and hope you don't miss. Multi-hit moves and moves with a high crit chance work best.

Have to use spells and abilities that always critically hit.

Before end game I’ll usually put on cheats for x10 exp to save myself mindlessly grinding these things for hours.

playing DQ8 as my first DQ game, is thin air worth getting? im already in the early level 20s and didnt know what it was until recently, id get it on yangus but that motherfucker is only getting 3 points per level so now im wondering if its even worth getting.

If you got the DS version, then sell it and get PCSX2 to play the ps2 version in HD because it’s still the superior version.

kind of, Hero only has multithrust rn which isnt great for a ton of enemies, yangus has jack shit for aoe, jessica has bang which is good if i psyche up and angelo only has woosh/swoosh

Skill points gain starts ramping up again past level 25.

All the skillsets have some good abilities.
But i think I agree on skillsets that give you a crit, since it speeds up farming, and allows you to just spam the crit skills if you ever run into bullshit that won't let you buff.

Now you get another with highly decreased chances to make a metabble. Then you breed another mettable for a metal king. Then you breed another metal king for a gold slime.

there's also specific magic for you to buff yourself.
high accuracy and skills that work on slimes are other ways.
