did the grab range feel kinda short in 2? I emulated 2 a year ago and I dont remember it feeling that limited.

that's because like everything else in the shitty remake, they fucked it.
the range is trash and it stays on screen for far fewer frames.

Did the collection sell well?

I think it topped steam charts for a lil bit but thats about it

SteamDB estimates around 15k, better than the Wii version and that's only one platform, but still not the best. I would guess if you assume it sold similar amounts on all platforms, it would be somewhere between 50 and 75k
