when you say "gamecube" everyone gets what it is and what it does immediately, plus it's easy to parody with gamesphere, gamepyramid etc

It had an iconic appearance compared to xbox and ps2

Xbox was the worst selling console.

simple name, it was a popular console at the time, and had a unique design

not hard to figure out

The GameCube was marketed towards kids

Only good answer

Nintendo is a cultural icon, less to do with the fact it was a gamecube, but just the fact it was the current Nintendo console.

hey asshead, your example is literally making fun of it.

I mostly got the GameCube for the gameboy advance player.

Wrong

Easiest name to parody and Nintendo has always been the company most synonymous with games regardless of console sale. You can't say "Jony" or "Bikrosoft" and have 100% of people instantly know you're referring to video games. you can say "Blintendo" and there's no mistaking because Nintendo isn't known for other things like Microsoft or Sony. It also had an iconic appearance that was simple to draw and had "Game" in the name, making it easier to parody.

>official storyboards
What the fuck was this show?

I'm partial to the V-Cube

It was a different tme.....

Alright, I'll bite. What's the story behind those? I've seen the original short about drilling holes into the skull that the series spawned from, but nothing about Billy's shitting asshole. After they became a CN show there's no chance they seriously tried to get Billy shitting into an episode. So assuming that's legit, what's the story? Yes, I know I could look it up but it's a discussion board so let's discuss.

Show so based they call fear maxwell atoms

all*

because it had game in the title. same reason how everything parodied the gameboy.

Does Japan really matter in the end?

That's the question that led to the pivoting of westernization of Japanese companies during the seventh gen.

If I had to guess, something similar to the Rugrats drawing board of Stu punching Didi. Just shit the story board artisrs/animators passed around to vent their frustrations by making a few laughs.

story boards often have dozens of unused sketches or its the workers poking fun before they edit it out.
looney tunes animators often drew a bunch of obscene/lewd shit before it was edited out.

>when it was the worst selling console

What investment firm do you work for?

reminder maxwell atoms only fairly recently learned he had genuine autism

based

any show that parodies dbz or sonic means the creator has some form of autism

Mainly middle and upper class kids had one. The poors bought a PS2 for their kids.

Kinda funny considering he named a recurring character Sperg.

because it's iconic and nintendo bought more advertising from CN than Sony, because Sony marketed the PS2 to teens and young adults

not true at all, ffs the PS2 had so many games everyone had a PS2

I'm bants'ing

Poors didn't have PS2 at the time they could only afford a flea market PS1 that was probably pre modchipped and came with burned cd-r's or had to pirate/burn at the library or a friend's house.

it was highly underrated

>Billy & Mandy was his only hit
>Evil Con Carne was a flop
>Underfist series was cancelled
>his other show that he developed for CN never got made
>FIRED from CN as executives said Billy & Mandy ruined their brand and was a "Hateful fart cartoon"
>spend years working on Dead Meat, only for it to get cancelled after 7 years of development due to Union reasons
>diagnosed with autism
>Billy & Mandy revival movie was rejected by CN
>is low on money and has to sell his background and production art from B&M
There is truly no hope for Maxwell Atoms

Was it really? Every kid I knew back then had a Gamecube

>looney tunes animators often drew a bunch of obscene/lewd shit before it was edited out.
...oh?
