youtube.com/watch?v=I7Gysb9_rU0
Not even close, but its fun and different than everything else at the moment.

is it fun?

Insane subhumans from Any Forums and Any Forums are mad that people like animals over them.

>walking sim, but with a cat
>different

i come from one week in the future and i have never heard of that game.

I have never heard of this game until today and now it's everywhere, not just here. Nice marketing.

DarkSydePhil is streaming this as we speak.

The rage is caused by someone announcing a cat game and delivering a walking sim. Cats deserve better.

>Everyone is talking about it.
That's how you know it's not that good.

contrarianism isnt a personality trait

You know those climbing segments in Uncharted? Its like they built a whole game around that

nah it's pretty lame, might be alright on sale as an atmospheric experience but even then

I'm in many cat related groups and have seen posts about it for years
game seems to be shit though

>Greatest game of all time
Maybe if you are a woman
It's okay

Trump hates cats so we also hate cats now.

It's Journey 2022 edition. It has its own problems, especially in part 2 of the game, but overall it's comfy and I enjoyed it.

Man how do you take something like this and have so little imagination with the mechanics. The animation and attention to detail in the kots movements are great but let me have the satisfaction of navigating the world as a cat. Might as well just be playing an assassin's Creed game that's completely linear and you can't kill anything or engage with the world in an interesting way

This reminds me so much of that fucking goose game that came out a few years ago. Same deal, great concept but boring execution

>letting trump control your thoughts
ngmi

What are some games I can be a kot that are actually fun to play?

>can't even pee on a sofa
Smh

~2 hours in and it's a pretty comfy adventure game. I was worried the contextual movement would be jank but it's actually really fucking smooth.
the game seems to be really short but for 30 bucks I'd say it's fair deal. at the very least it's certainly worth a pirate.
only issue I have is that the fur has shitty transparency that relies on TAA so if you disable it with ini tweaks, it looks ugly as shit

why are they like this?

>press x to auto jump to a ledge
>can't fail
>no excitement
What a missed opportunity

Reminder to play it with gamepad

You can really tell what audience they were going for by the relative lack of failure states

>people mad about walking sim
as opposed to what? sleeping sim?

Being an obtuse retard is not a virtue.

>out of this world 2.0

i was really excited about this game but the auto jump thing is a fucking terrible idea, can you only jump on certain parts of the game?

Post gameplay.

Uncharted if he cat

So, basically a decent but raw game. Maybe if the release a sequel with 2x size and interactions.

Is it groundbreaking? no
It's pretty simple, and only like, 7 hours, but it has some great sound design and music, and it's rather meditative

Except if you want to 100% that shit - trying to do the chase sequences without getting a little bug monster on you is a pain in the ass
