Is it just me or is guilty gear the only fighting game that unabashedly ships their characters/gets them to fuck.
Both mascot characters are not only married to other playable characters but also have children which are also playable characters.
And most of the characters that aren't already in a relationship very clearly have another character they wanna fuck.
I'm pretty sure guilty gear has the highest nonVirgin characters to Virgin characters ratio out of all fighting games.

I was excited for Strive thinking "Maybe this will take away all the crap I hated from the previous game". Instead, I got what I hated about the last game return and everything I liked about the series got wiped out. It was a resemblance of everything else I enjoy? Everyone says "I'm a weirdo", but they don't understand that truly means until you realize people DON'T want what you were passionate about. They just want their own repetitive bullcrap each time? I say this without malice, more so because it's kind of true dude. People didn't want Guilty Gear. They just wanted a game called Guilty Gear they could win at. The more I learned about Strive, the less I wanted to learn about the game. I constantly was "Get rid of this. Get rid of that. Don't do that. Don't do this. Don't do that." and that is my experience with Strive. I got rid of every element I liked about the game for this game that the company uses a bunch of lies just to pander to. It sucks. That is just everything else I enjoy in the world. Strive. A game that wants to pander to a bunch of people who want to create more tension for a crowd who's given a lot more than they honestly deserve, rather than wanting to understand why the experience is so beautiful in the first place. If I ever want to compete in "Guilty Gear", I'd have to do it with all my feeling joy and passion for the game destroyed. The last time I played the game, I was doing well, but man. I did 80% of someone's health off a dust combo and hated myself. HE should have won and even then, the match wasn't exciting. It was me jumping through hoops in a game I didn't want to put my time into and working hard at a series that said "Fuck you for enjoying us cause the majority of people say so." If you are an outcast, it's just like that. You aren't gonna be focused on. But you are. And I don't hate you for it. I just hate that it has to be such a hard fight to have something I enjoy keep happening.

The established playerbase who keeps the lobbies populated daily. I've never had a problem with finding an opponent quickly.
