I don't think I ever got that far into the main quest. People meme Bethesda plots but even Oblivion and Skyrim had more engaging main quests, after reaching Rivet City for the first time I always end up fucking around for a dozen more hours then I uninstall.

The Fade in Dragon Age Origins is a 2 hour slog where it plays exactly the same no matter what character you build and play as. It was so bad one of the first mods was an option to skip it entirely.
Anyone who defends it past a first playthrough is a contrarian faggot.

the best part is fallout new vegas did the exact same spot but better and expanded on the lore with it
old world blues is genuinely the best dlc in new vegas but I don't know of any mods that try to fix some of the problems with it

invisible walls in a open world game is a good thing if not you have to put death claws everywhere you don't want the player to go because super mutants aren't a real challenge unless it's going up black mountain where there's like 20 of them with night kin all at one corner of the entrance
