I'd really like it if they mixed spell availability up. There's a bunch of stuff that appears only post-jungle that I never end up using as my build is close to set in stone by that point. Spells like pinpoint of light, expanding sphere, concentrated light etc are ones I've basically never used, but I probably would if they appeared on floors 2 or 3 and I could build something around them on the descent.

Also, the first floor is boring and its side-area is pointless. Collapsed Mines should be much more like fungal (high risk, high reward) to make up for it.

The just needed to flesh out alchemy a bit more

gameplay is great
exploration done right (not a drag like in many other games)
experimentation is awesome with some really crazy wands

agreed about the spell availability, some things should have a chance to spawn earlier for wand building

Nothing, they did as good of a job as they could as new indie devs without money. The game is quite fun.

The game devs mistakenly thought their game would sell better if it became a meme, so focused on ridiculous difficulty and stupid twitch-clip content than making a good game.
