If you grew up with video games, you have no life experience. You will never be able to create anything even close to what he created. The truest Earthbound-like game would be nothing like Earthbound, a game of passion made by someone who didn't have his mind poisoned by gaming at a young age. Not some RPG Maker pixelshit about depression made by someone who has never experienced another form of emotion in their entire life.

And although they don’t have the same clout Toby’s games have, the rest of the Earthbound-likes still have their dedicated fanbases and have seen success.
