Is it any good? I wanted to buy the volumes but they're like oop on amazon.

How is it kino? It's a good manga? Like a must a read? I've heard it's weird though. Seems to be like one of those of either you love ir or hate it.

First half is, then it gpes completely off the rails.

I found it rather brutal, with tortures, cannibalism and that kind of stuff, but it has some good moments. I found it interesting the fact that the OP girl just wanted to watch some movies.

It is kind of surreal. It has a tragic, hopeless plot where good people suffer gratuitous violence, where many characters seem to be evil and not have any regard for human life. But it has some commentary on this, it discusses forgiveness, redemption, accountability. People like to meme with this one picture, but it is not an easy read.

It is extremely unique, definitely worth reading

It has some pretty high concept stuff mixed in amongst the suffering/torture porn. It reminds me of a bleak middle eastern novel focusing on the horror of the human condition, except with typical japan twists.

If you feel like investing 250 hours into the Project Moon setting, the game actually presents you this exact situation on a meta level, while also weaving it into the narrative. The game genuinely asks you, as the player behind the screen, if you are capable of forgiving somebody who has wronged you in a big way, and it does it without breaking the fourth wall.

It ONLY works properly if you play through the entirety of Lobotomy Corporation, getting the true ending regardless of how much you might dislike the game, though. If you don't, it's still a good story, but the emotional levers that it is pulling don't properly exist.
