it'll be dead before you know it. A mod for an 11 year old game that relies on high player count lobbies is not going to have a long life, no matter how good it actually is.

Is Squad good? I've been yearning to play a good modern military shooter. Nowadays I just play insurgency.

its alright. its not much like insurgency, its got huge open maps where as insurgency is more narrow, and has vehicles. gunplay is slower and has more recoil/kick, less dependent on twitch shooting ability than insurgency. its for the most part not a milsim autism game like people pretend, no one will yell orders at you or force you to respect rank or stick together.
