Ya here's the problem with your shitbrain attitude, these things used to be on arcade machines. You know those things that take change and kick you off the second you lose? And that fucking meant something. You could be winning, but if you where using cheap tactics, or simply repetitive one's, you'd get your ass kicked. Stabbed, fucking stabbed because you figured out DJ's zero to death combo in SF2 or figured out how to play a grappler. People's money was on the line, at a constant rate. That shit only comes in play during tournaments now, but it used to be session to session.

It used to back in the 90s. I remember a Vegas shooting happening at an arcade over a game of Mace, lol. When I was in North Cali, there were rival schools getting into fist fights over mothafucking NBA Jam matches in the arcades.
Modern Fighting has been taken over by trannies though. LTG is a relic of a bygone past, probably due to how fighting games have moved online so the real life intimidation factor is no longer a quantifiable trait. To add to what he's saying, I remember we used to call next in line by putting our quarter on top of the side of the screen that we were playing on. It was nothing like that Maxmilian Dood crap, which is why I've always hated that he became the face of fighting games. He'd call it out by saying that "You aren't gangsters!"
