aye, just stay away from known creatures like the xenomorph which at this point you already know its first kiss, when he graduated and all its limitations. Scary comes from the unknown, and no matter how many gimmicks Alien Isolation throws at (you) a xenomorph by himself won't create anxiety nor dread

I remember an old PC FPS game that revolved around aliens, it almost looked like shovelware but it was unsettling, you had the stereotypical Roswell aliens and I think there was like some CIA enemies. The first level ended in a field full of aliens. Very weird but I wanted to find it for so long

Depends on how you want to approach it. Whether you want more subtly like the majority of Signal Simulator or a more action-oriented, cat & mouse game.
