halo 2 is good as a stand alone game but as a sequel it's poor. too many coincidental repeating events from ce

i never cared for 2. there's something about the physics in it. it always felt off to me, like css vs csgo and 1.6

1. both games start in a human space level being attacked by covenant
1. both games have you do a slipspace jump to a new halo ring
2. both games have you search for the ring's index
3. both games major human side characters are johnson and keyes (captain then miranda)
4. both games have 343 guilty spark reveal a plot twist
5. both games are about stopping the rings from being activated
6. both games have you go to the ring's library
7. both games have you do the final boss fight in the control room

also both games have a flood reveal midway through

mixed up 3's ending with ce's on 7. you do go to the control room in ce but there's no boss fight there. that's only in 3
