I want to say faggot jin but plot armour will carry him
The playerbase
Probably Kazuya, but only if his VA dies.
All these years I thought they were brothers
they aren't?
Kazuya is Jin's dad.
lol fucking Tekken lore
Most kino entry
holyshit
Kazuya is actually the jap's favorite Tekken character, surpassing Heihachi.
This game had such a vibe

First Tekken I owned and always stuck with me
Great aesthetics, but Tekken fags are crazy about the meta and Tekken 4 changed it too much for them so Tekken could never be as a experimental as 4 again.
Heiachi only died just because his VA died.
Kazuya is can’t be killed at this point, his resurgence as THE face of Tekken has been too strong, Jin seemed to be pretty damn good a holding up as the true successor but in recent years Kazuya has been shilled hard by Bamco themselves.
Kazuya is simply the better character.
my favorite character has been dead for years
all that remains is a schizo hobo looking for aliens
His latest VA died in 2018, Tekken 7’s console release with the story mode was in 2017.
Weird, Japs usually have shit taste. I was certain they'd prefer Jin.
IIRC Devil Jin/Jin are big in Pak.
Yeah, not sure why, japs usually like faggot goody-two-shoes but somehow the polls have Kazuya first.
still has 3 times the player base according to steamdb
Also, Soul Calibur and Bloody Roar are way better than Tekken.
Shit, I wish BR comes back.
you fags know nothing about jap tastes
>but plot armour will carry him
I would say this too before Tekken 6 but it kinda feels like their building him up as the next big bad villain character. I think the best way to go about continuing the story is by having Jin go on a complete power hungry rampage. He's already responsible for killing millions so I think him giving in to his devil side completely would be an interesting way to go since he seemed like the only one not tainted by evil for so many years and only wanted to prevent it for the future of his family's bloodline. It also leaves Kazuya in this weird position where now suddenly he's the lesser of two evils since he's never done anything as heinous as Jin even though he's tried. Not only would it push him back into the hero position which hasn't been seen since the first game but it would be a great way of giving him a proper comeback since he's never been able to beat Jin before. If they just continued with Jin bullshit where he beats everyone in his path like they've been doing for decades, it would be garbage storytelling. They would be doing the same old shit and eventually would have him be defeated by some faggot character like Lars which no one wants. To instead go full circle and go the unpredictable route of having Kazuya kill Jin would be a more beautiful climax. While it's happening you can give Kazuya this internal struggle of him dealing with his inner darkness and the horrors he's faced by the hands of not only his father but now his son who's turning into an even worse version of his father. Tekken should be the tragic story of Kazuya and the downfall of his family. The future of Tekken should play into this and maybe people would actually care about the story again since clearly what they're doing now is not working out.
Kiryu was a faggot goody-two-shoes, don't kid yourself.
Now that’s a weird post, did you just ignore Tekken 7’s story completely? Sure Kazuya has been getting shilled a lot by Bamco lately but Tekken 7 was on point in showing Kazuya falling back into a the villain role again by the end of the story, while Jin went through whole thing as a remorseful atoned who had to pay for what he did in Tekken 6. The last scene in Tekken 7 is literally Jin promising to take Kazuya down as Lars, the closest heroic main character Tekken has a this point, agrees with him.
Why are you posting the "goodest boy" yakuza ever made?
>still has 3 times the player base
of what?
get that weak bitch out of here, enter the real Dragon of Dojima.
>jin enters tournament 8
>impregnates xiaoyu
>jin lost to kazuya and got thrown into a volcano
>xiaoyu gave birth to a female mishima
>timeskip 17 years
>an ancient curse is awoken
>xiaoyu is killed by an ancient curse
>female mishima went to train under kazuya
>fem mishima beats ancient curse
>shot in the head by kazuya
>fem mishima activates her devil gene
>flew away to hide in australia
Dunno about you but it sounds pretty kino to me
Why is he not in Tekken 7? Wouldn't he literally have been the easiest character to implement?
