You are cringe... for using Yuzu Mainline instead of Early Access you can download from here pineappleea.github.io
In Metroid Dread specifically you can even unlock the framerate, nothing seems tied to FPS except for cursor speed when you open the map. I played it at 144hz, zero issues.
As for the game itself, it gets way better later once you unlock new powers. Keep playing.
