Serious sam tormental is the ultimate pc video game

But seriously, it is the best top down roguelite i've ever played. It simply has superior mechanics; first and foremost it gives you a different gun than your primary before the second room, then an upgrade for your primary, which makes each playthrough fun, and makes you try new weapons and buffs.. Also... The buffs can combo and level if you pick them again, making for a ton of combinations.

Thats just for starters. On top of that, if you want to take extra risk, you can use the oh so satisfying dodge roll to "brutally kill" near-death enemies for bonus fights that are really worth the risk if you can pull it off. And if you do a room without losing health you get more bonuses, which really puts that carrot in front of you every step of the way to do every room perfectly... And the rooms are selected from a handcrafted pool so RNG cant screw you with enemies in your face immediately - ruining a good run.

And the game has everything you need to make it harder if you want
