He's has some of the best gear and limits available as well as excellent stats. He also happens to be the mandatory party lead for long enough for this to be apparent.

Do any of the characters in the original have any noticeable stat differences? Or are the differences between characters limit breaks and ranges vs not ranged? I never really bothered to look, I just kinda used whoever looked cool and it didn't seem to matter one bit.
