Depends on the situation. I have dex and that shit saved my life a few times being able to escape dangerous situations. Once though when I was a kid playing in a bombed out site I climbed up some ruined pub, somehow got myself stuck and literally the burned out wooden floor boards started giving way and the shit I was clinging to was crumbling too and I didn't have the strength to pull myself out but some big kid saw shit go down so with one had he grabs me by the back of my shirt and pulls me up from either death or survive falling 2 floors and snapping my shit up.

The Zweihander is the Rivers of Blood of DS1. I threw it away as soon as I got a Demon Machete and the game became way more fun.

Upnto a point, but STR scales way better and the diminished returns in DEX are negligible in comparison. A superheavyweight might be a bit clumsier and gas out a lot easier than a welterweight, but it really doesn't matter when he'll lay out the welter in one punch and barely feel the welter's hits.

One should always be tied to the other in games that at least pretend to be realistic. Being stronger doesn't make you slower, quite the opposite. Explosive speed comes from musculature.
