I'd like to publish erotica on Amazon's Kindle Publishing so I can earn some extra money. There are stories about futanari and other stuff on there, I've checked but would it be profitable?

I don't think it would work out for you. For one thing you are competing with Archiveofourown who have a monopoly on video game erotica.
You're better off making eroitca based around mythology.

Don't listen to the other anons telling you to write what you like, it won't pay. If you REALLY want to write erotica, you have to write for fetishes that are popular. Your audience will be primarily women, never forget that. Men have access to endless amounts of pornography over the internet and are more likely to just coom and fuck off. Women will be infinitely more likely to buy your ebook and promote it among their circles.

Not him, but the way most people do it is by shilling on websites/communities (like this one) and then siphoning patreon money forever. Obviously you'll need very good promotional art for it as well as shilling teams otherwise you'll fail immediately.
