The plasma rifle from Doom 3
The ”snikt!” sound when you kill an enemy in a Souls game.
Not one I like, but one that's really iconic is the hit sound from CoD games.
The headshot sound in Counter-Strike
Weapon transform sounds from BB, especially picrel
unironically dota has the best sound design of any game. Every conceivable action has unique, distinguishable sound effects and even multiple voice lines associated with them. No two sound effects sound alike. Spells even have different sounds depending on the context you use them. Like activating Witch Doctor heal is a different sound than when you deactivate it, or Earthshaker ult gets louder the more enemies you hit with it. Not to mention the audio packs which have dynamic music based on what is happening in the game, like ramping up to the chorus during team fights or playing audio tracks when taking roshan. And there's an insane amount of voice lines, the Warlock ult golem alone has over 100 and it's not even one of the 100+ characters in the game.

obviously every Age of Empires game is a contender. I also like the counter hit sound in Tekken 7, and the sound of a parry in SF3 is pretty good too but that may be psychological rather than aesthetic.
The enemy death sound from FF7.
>Diablo 2 healing potion
nice one
>picking up a potion in Morrowind
Bubbly potion sounds in general are just swell
Name a more cathartic sound

once we had a blind user talking about how he played videogames
he enjoyed playing pokemon because of the "thud" you make when slamming into a wall, which is great to locate yourself and your surroundings
What game has the most satisfying headshot sound?
The sound when you parry in Valheim
I always loved the SF4 Focus Attack sound
Also the Wyrmfire from Monster Hunter
