I got through all the Souls games no problem, but this one is different from From's other games.
I put 38.7 hours into the game and I'm STILL using the same broadsword I started the game with as a Confessor, with nearly almost the same armor.
Whenever I find new gear, it usually weighs too much and makes my rolling slow or in the case of new weapons, they don't do as much damage because I've upgraded the broadsword to like +5 or something.
Also, I can never figure out where to go to progress the game.
I just meander around the map until by luck I manage to find a dungeon.
I then fight my way through said dungeon only to arrive at a boss that can kill me in literally almost one hit (current one I'm stuck at is the lizard with the fire/lava).
Then I get frustrated and go and google the boss only to find out that it's an fricken optional boss and that I spent all that time fighting through the dungeon to get to it and killing it won't even progress me in the main storyline.
So then I just leave the dungeon and go meandering some more until the same thing happens again.
What am I doing wrong?
I shouldn't have to follow a guide to make it through the game.
I should be able to just play it naturally and find my own way through.
However, I probably killed Godrick within the first 8 hours of the game, now nearly 30 hours later, I'm no further in the main storyline than when I killed him in the first 8 hours.
>What am I doing wrong? well to start off, being a reddit-spacing tripfag

spec more in vitality and endurance and less in damage stats, you make damage by upgrading weapon, cap at str 30 fr no cap subb
Sebastian Carter
Are you aware that killing optional enemies/bosses grants you runes that you can use to level up and/or buy stuff to help you get stronger? Seems like that's a major part of the game that you're not getting.
Grayson Ramirez
Ignoring the fact you belong on reddit and should fuck off back there...
Confessor is a permagimped class. Unless you want to invest heavily in magic, you have chosen the wrong starter.
Austin Perry
I need better to kill the bosses in the first place.
And it's not just me.
Even the people who I summon into my game, they're getting one or two-shotted by that frickin lizard.
Daniel Myers
This, op is a faggot and posting low quality bait

>Also, I can never figure out where to go to progress the game. For that you have sites of grace and Finger Reader Crone. And you don't need to 'meander' around to find dungeons. There's plenty of those guiding statues that point you out where to go. You have the messages from other players too to guide yourself man.
Just upgrade another weapon you found and try other things if that bothers you. The game throws so much somber stone at you theres no way you wouldn't be able to at least use some good unique weapons. Level your endurance, even if you don't want to go heavy don't you like having stamina? >baaawww this boss was optional >baaawww where do I go That's like 90% of this game, bro. If shit is too strong go to a different area and come back later, it'not difficult to figure out.
Don't you talk to NPCs? Killing godrick puts you right out where some loser explains you need a key to get into Raya Lucaria.

>Confessor >Description >A church spy adept at covert operations. Equally adept with a sword as they are with their incantations.
It says it right there in the description.
I should be just as good as I am with a blade as I am with magic.
I play Priest/Cleric/Healers in all of my games, and to a lesser extent Paladin.
Why should they make this one class nerfed by design but not tell anyone they are harder to play if that's the case?
Hunter Gomez
Apparently, Weeping Peninsula is the ''beginner area''. I recognize my own journey in your obnoxiously lebbit-spaced post, but I endured. The game only started to be 'fun' for me around the 100th hour, which is way too fucking late compared to any other Souls game I had played before. So, go there or stfu.
Adrian Wood
Find some easier bosses to tackle then. There's enough content in the game that you can get overleveled easily just from doing all of the optional content that there is to do in order of difficulty. You never need to tackle a really hard boss that you're underleveled for if you don't want to.
Jacob Reed
>niggers actually get baited by this I crowed, while being decidedly not baited.
>should I didn't make the broken ass game, tell it to the review
Isaiah Wood
>25 faith Lmao what do you even need that for this early?
Adam Cook
Not really. You're doing ok but try to also priorize your Vigor besides Faith or you're gonna regret it later.
Michael Rogers
When I played Souls games, whatever that holy/church/priest class was required a bunch of faith and you neglected the other stats.
So naturally I assumed you were supposed to put a bunch into faith.
Mason Wright
I'll put some more in vigor then.
Is there anyway to reset all your attribute points?
Jordan Scott
Yes. There's a boss that will let you re-adjust your attributes in Liurnia once you defeat it first as many times as you want as long as you provide it a certain item.
Logan Butler
I'm currently in Caria Manor.
Should I leave and go back to the Weeping Peninsula?
I'm only there because I found out I missed out on the ability to summon spirits earlier in the game and now the only way to get it is to talk to a blue lady I was supposed to talk to earlier at one of the churches I was as but she wasn't there at the time.
Liam Cox
OK.
I'll look into this.
Blake King
Basically it will let you be 'reborn' just as Rosaria does in Ds3.
Alexander Price
Well if you never got the spirit summoning bell then that explains a lot. Once you get that, your options for dealing with bosses opens way up. It's a totally different game depending on whether you choose to make use of the summons or not.
Christian Morales
just google all this shit
>scaled set (or generic knight set) >bullgoat talisman >great-jar arsenal (go offline mode so the npcs are weaker) >great epee, lance, estoc, or pike any poke weapon >brass shield or any greatshield >flaming strike or flame of the redmanes >red hot whetblade >miner bell bearing (1) should take like 20 mins to gather
OP has a post from 2 yrs ago complaining sekiro is too hard, so i think he's just a retard
get everything i said then level endurance to 21 so you don't fat roll, then just block and stab everything, now the game is playable. never go in a dungeon they're gay and a waste of time.
