Don't care about Ubishit
Didn't even pirate any AssCreed past 4

>still posting this when it has been debunked by ubisoft

This and
>he doesn't download and make backups of every single game they have bought
Next thing you're going to cry when you realize discs get scratched and cartridges die from bitrot.

Why the fuck would I BUY games at that point? What value do I get?

The service of having it easily available, achievements, online multiplayer, cloud sync, remote play together, etc. Why are you buying games if you can't make backups? Are you retarded? DRM will always be broken at some point, so while it's still new I get to enjoy it as it's meant to be (or better through patched out DRM) and in the long run I can just patch my backups if the service stops to exist.

>having it easily available
But you just said you always immediately back it up

They're still taking the DLC

Yes. I download the game and then I make a backup of it right to my NAS. I have the game day 1 playable without any viruses.

>le viruses
Oh okay you should have told us you never pirated anything in your life. Thanks for confirming your opinion is worthless

This game doesn't have DLC, it's a rerelease of an old Vita game.

>muh rot
>muh scratches
applies to one copy as opposed to every around the world losing access to the game because the company felt like it

also, piracy will be useless once everything relies on a central server
and you caused this by buying digital

>discs get scratched and cartridges die from bitrot
never happened to me
maybe you should take care of your shit

>never pirated
Nigger. Last thing I pirated was Sekiro because I was unsure if the game was for me or not. If you're really going to argue that there never has been any malware shipped with pirated copies then I must say I hope you like paying for the electricity that has been generated from your PC mining crypto for some chink.

>being too fucking stupid not to download viruses
>he thinks this is a le epic argument
You're just further outing yourself as someone who doesn't have any business discussing piracy
Last (you) for your bait

>Publisher back-peddles due to backlash
>IT'S BEEN DE-LEBOONKED!

Ah yes user, I didn't knew you know the source code for every single pirated game installer, you're SOOOOOO SMART!!!!!
It happens over time, I have a dozen well taken care of GameBoy games that just don't work anymore, whether they have a new battery or not.
You're objectively retarded if you think that being able to make copies of your games on whichever platform and medium you have is inferior to having exactly one specific unit piece of plastic for every single piece of software. Holy fuck Any Forums is just a bunch of underage kiddos that defend solely their own camp.

Yes it does

It's also not the only game affected. For example, the templar lairs from Assassin's Creed 2 and Brotherhood, the Copernicus and Da Vinci Disappearance missions from Brotherhood, and the Tyranny of King Washington missions from Assassin's Creed 3 are all being taken from people who paid for them.

>data has value because... it just does okay!
I'll never understand it. Imagine if you walked past a store and the store owner ran out screaming at you because you didn't pay for the electricity he used to light the window.

That's Ubishit for you. Adding weapons and cosmetics as microtransactions while they don't add anything to the game, the only reason these exist is because they made the standalone game slower and boring to incentivize you into buying these things which are objectively better than anything in the standalone game. Ubishit game is still shit, should have known. Don't buy Ubishit.

>either buy a hardware that's entirely locked down and useless outside of games
>or buy codes in boxes
>or pirate everything and have no effect on the games industry
