You now realize that Renathal and Denathrius were meant to be blatant ripoffs of Alucard and Dracula

Someone who cares more than I care to google him give me TLDR on this orcnigger (because all orcs are niggers)

Blizzard did Garrosh dirty; threw out every nuance of his character and made him cartoonishly evil just so the Horde would have a reason to fight against him instead of for him.

There's no resemblance between the Garrosh who executed his own General for the murder of civilians, and the Garrosh who enacted his own genocide just for the lulz. Or the Garrosh who gave Theramore advance warning their city was about to get annihilated so that they would have time to evacuate non-combatants, only to have secretly captured those civilians so that they could be secretly tortured for his own amusement months/years later. It was hack writing at its worse and I regret ever getting invested in the story.

I thought they were meant to be Kain and Raziel, given Denathrius threw Renathal down a hole

I like that Denathrius is WoW Dracula.
The Nathrezim have been vampires forever. Making their leader into notDracula was cool.

QRD: Thrall retires as Warchief because he's becoming unpopular, and nominates the son of the Old Horde war hero Grommash Hellscream to replace him. This ends working almost too well, as Garrosh quickly turns the Horde back into an efficient war machine that starts kicking ass. Then for some reason he becomes Hitler and the Orcs are his master race, and eventually the Horde are forced to turn against him before he genocides all non-orcs.

How about the guys and factions introduced with in vanilla? Ragnaros, the Scarlet Crusade, C'thun, Onyxia, etc? I feel like they are more memorable than anything they did afterwards, in spite of vanilla not having a big narrative or gay cutscenes like the later expansions. Even TBC and WotLK were mostly just memberberries.

They had Zul'jin in the Revendreth cinematic, too. Bwonsamdi said he's only ever failed one soul and we see Zul'jin in the Afterlives cinematic and he shows up in person in Revendreth as well. It's a shame I love that guy.

There's social subtext here most are unaware of. Toward the end of WotLK, much of the WoW team was reassigned to what eventually became Overwatch. WoW was restaffed with a bunch of memers like Kosack and grugs like Afrasiabi. The combination of Hordefag memes and grug attitude created an entire expansion where the Horde were pissing and shitting over the Alliance on every front, and Alliancecucks were getting their asses reamed during Blizzcon, sometimes literally.
When things had more or less settled down though the folks at Blizzard must have picked up on the fact they were alienating like half of their paypiggies, and since back then they still gave a shit they made MoP, which was Moralfaggot: the Expansion. Basically, if based Blizzard had just stuck to their authentic grug and loktar ogar memes they could have eviscerated the Alliance trannies as far back as 2012, maybe closed their faggot fuck accounts too and banned them from the gamersphere. Nobody needs allianceshits. Now instead their faction has had a slow death and almost all of them insufferavle gaylords are infesting our once glorious strongboy faction. Vgh. What could have been...
