ain't this some shit...
56 y/o japanese man having a nervous break down on twitter in real time because of a blue hedgehog

This guy used to be at the top of one of the biggest video game companies in the world with an ego that probably surpassed the total profits of the Genesis. I think most would lose their marbles in his shoes.
Remember that one time Yuji Naka indirectly almost killed two STI employees because he didn't want to share his Nights Engine? Good times.
We all know why we're here.
How much money are you putting down on the trial?
He went from being an egotistical cunt who'd fire people for so much as breathing in his general direction to getting blacklisted by the industry and fired from both Sega and SquareEnix. It's no wonder the dude is spazzing out on Twatter, he's probably going to immolate himself infront of a Tokyo Sega arcade.
I HATE that hedgehog
Any kind sir willing to share what the fuck is going on?
Normalfags are waking up. Naka a having a nervous breakdown defending his ego online.
Well, he was given many chances to prove himself again, with his last game being an absolute fuckup of galactic proportions.
dunno but its funny
did he hate that hedgehog?
The creator (supposedly) of sonic is a lolcow himself.
I trust Japanese man over some skateboarding burnout dev poser
C and Assembly are the same thing you dumb jap
His only hope of having a non Macdonalds related career at this point is convincing any company's hiring manager that Balan Wonderworld woulda been god's gift to gaming if only squenix hadn't shit it up.
It's all bullshit, but it's his last possible move to avoid flipping burgers. You know how the japanese are about surrendering
4/10 made me click reply
>nerd makes cool thing that prints money
>normies bully nerd and steal cool thing
Tale as old as time.
This man could've kept Sega from imploding during the 32-bit generation if he hadn't been such a cunt. Nintendo and Miyamoto were hard at work preparing Mario 64 and blew people away with it.
Imagine if Naka-san and his team were just as focused to create a visual powerhouse to put Sonic on the Sega Saturn and blow people away with 3D loop-de-loops and waterfalls.
STI could've provided support like they always did with music or artwork.
The saturn couldnt do that
sonic is a vidya midas touch that makes everyone involved insane
people stopped programming in assembly when it became meaningless to do so even for optimization purposes and it doesn't matter as long as they know the basics of what they can derive from the engine in terms of functions etc rather than the inner workings or else it's not really much of an engine but a piece of proprietary work, what a dumbass
The best that Saturn could do is probably Sonic R. Anything fancier like more draw distance and poly count would kill your FPS.
