I wonder if Ubishit’s lawyers shit a brick over the weekend
Turns out of you raise a stink things actually happen. It's not like twitter checkmarks have been abusing this for a decade at this point.
no one that owns an ass creed game can be happy
It was pretty fucking obvious this is what they meant. Gamers are just fucking retarded children who love to play the victim and scream about it without even knowing the facts.
Same thing happened with the FIFA 22 "Activation Limit" nonstory that turned out to be complete bullshit.

This seems like a pretty clear 180 cause "oh shit ppl are mad yo"
I do wonder what the original reasoning was. It's a port of a fucking Vita game, it doesn't have any essential online features
>pretty fucking obvious what they meant
So what DID they mean? If you can still play it then what were they even announcing?
>Gamers are just fucking retarded children who love to play the victim and scream about it without even knowing the facts.
No actually. It's Journalists clickbaiting and people desperate to shit on Steam using anything and everything as fuel.
You can't buy, gift, activate, or otherwise acquire the game on Steam anymore.
They did really expect to people don't give a shit? If you give something to people they will forget about it in a week, if you take something from them they will fucking revolt and cry
get fucked faggot
NO... THIS WAS OUR EPIC CHANCE TO OWN STEAM CHADS... WTF THEY ACTUALLY DO OWN THEIR GAMES
Exactly this.
It has the stink of a Sony-PS3-backpedaling moment.
THIS ISN'T FUCKING FAIR WE WERE SUPPOSED TO USE THIS AN EXAMPLE FOR YEARS TO COME AND NOW IT'S BEING TAKEN AWAY WE WERE SO FUCKING CLOSE FUCK THIS
what about the dlcs for Far cry 3 , Assassin Creed 2 , 3 and Brotherhood ? this is my biggest problem , this is single player content theres no reason for it to be unable to play it
Does that include the single player DLC that requires an online connection for some reason?
>It was pretty fucking obvious this is what they meant.
You're right, this really IS pretty fucking at-face-value obvious:
> Notice: Please note this title will not be accessible following September 1st, 2022
Oh wait; that's not exactly the narrative you were going for, now was it?
what do I care about assassin's creed ? I was just angry about the principle
>try to fuck costumers
>see backlash
>try to fix it
nope, fuck ubisoft and fuck corporations
BASED Ubisoft. Glad I can preorder the new AC without worries.
But you still lose the DLCs. So why are games sacrosanct but DLC not?
DLC will still stop working
